dataacrobat.com is Jay Ozer's personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no payments, and it does not sell or share personal information.

What the site collects

Analytics. Pages served from the production deployment include Vercel Analytics, which records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not use cookies for cross-site tracking and does not build advertising profiles.

Ask Jay. Ask Jay is the chat on this site. When a question is sent, the message text and a randomly generated session identifier go to this site's backend so the assistant can answer. Conversation history is held in memory to keep replies coherent within a session and is lost when the backend restarts; it is not written to a database. The session identifier is random and is not linked to a person.

Voice input. If the microphone is used in Ask Jay, the recorded audio is sent to the backend for transcription and is not retained after the transcript is produced.

Server logs and rate limiting. Like any web service, requests reach the hosting providers with an IP address, which is used to apply rate limits and to keep the service available.

Processors

Messages sent to Ask Jay reach these providers as part of answering the question. Do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through it.
